I recently tried a new hair care product line and I just had to share it with you! It’s called Amintha Nourishments and they are an all-natural line. One thing I love about them is they have products for all hair types (straight, wavy, curly and kinky) and each hair type has its own products.
I tried the Resilient Bounce and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner for wavy hair. These products are free of sulfates, alcohol, parabens, gluten, phthalates, artificial color, and artificial fragrances and it says it is made with essential oils and natural ingredients.
Washing My Hair
The first thing I noticed was the scent of the shampoo. It smells just like peppermint essential oil and it is amazing. It doesn’t get all soapy and lathery like a lot of shampoos do, however, I was told by my hair dresser that that is actually a good thing when it doesn’t lather as much! This shampoo made my hair squeaky clean without feeling dry.
I expected the conditioner to smell the same as the shampoo but it didn’t really have a scent to me. The texture of this conditioner was pleasantly surprising! I normally use Joico shampoo and conditioner and the consistency and texture of the conditioner was extremely comparable. I worked it into my hair and let it sit for a couple of minutes and Y’ALL… when I rinsed it out, my hair was SO soft.
After Washing My Hair
Honestly, if I don’t have anywhere to be, I just let my hair air-dry just because I’m lazy like that. Just for the sake of seeing what the shampoo and conditioner does by itself, I used no other products in my hair after I showered. I wrapped my hair in a towel and went to bed.
I am not kidding when I tell you that when I woke up the next morning my head actually felt lighter. My hair just felt so light and soft and healthy. Now I don’t know if that was just in my head, but it just doesn’t seem like my hair normally feels that light!
Do I Recommend?
They have other products like an oil stimulator that also contains natural ingredients and essential oils that promotes hair growth. Another one that I have yet to try but want to, is the Irriguous Moisturizing Cream.
The shampoos and conditioners are 8 fl. oz. for $9.99-$10.99 so it’s definitely a great value! If you are looking for new hair products to add to your routine, I absolutely recommend these!
